Responsible for managing the overall safety, integrity and operational working condition of field gathering systems, internal lease pipeline systems associated with the transportation of petroleum products. Administers all pipeline regulatory activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently.
4. Responsible for oversight of patrolling & leak survey of pipelines.
5. Complete appropriate documentation and reporting for inspections, maintenance, safety, regulatory, etc.
6. Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements and documents (PHMSHA, DOT, RRC, etc.)
7. Manages company policies regarding regulatory compliance and maintains required compliance documentation.
8. Interprets and organizes all pipeline maps and electronic GIS files.
9. Involvement in DOT OQ training and record keeping
10. Lead person in inquiries, notices, and inspections of TXRRC audits and complaints
11. Work independently as liaison between EagleRidge and outside entities i.e. landowners, emergency response agencies, contractors and other pipeline companies overseeing contractor work performance and adherence to company safety policies
12. Ensuring all physical conditions and ROW activities comply with state and federal regulations as well as EagleRidge procedures and policies
13. Coordinates pipeline construction activities for maintenance, integrity or new construction projects
14. Identification of external threats to pipeline integrity and provides recommendations for mitigation
15. Provide regulatory oversight and support to ensure that EagleRidge pipeline systems are operated and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with federal and state pipeline safety laws and regulations.
16. Provide regulatory compliance expertise by researching regulations, interpretations, enforcement cases, and agency guidance to assist in making risk-based business and operational decisions.
17. Conduct internal compliance assurance reviews and support the development of mitigation plans for identified deficiencies.
18. Complete and submit required regulatory reports (e.g. pipeline accident reports).
1. 2-year technical degree (mechanical/electrical) preferred or 2 years of relevant field experience.
2. 5+ years’ experience with midstream operations, gas/liquids pipeline maintenance.
3. Knowledge and experience pipe inspection, coating application, pipeline welding procedures, use of ultrasonic thickness gauge, pit gauge, repairing test leads, excavation safety, and minor repairs on rectifiers
4. Relevant knowledge and understanding of procedures used to safely pig pipeline, i.e. launching, receiving and inspection.
5. Computer knowledge - specifically the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word and the ability to learn to use proprietary databases.
6. Ability to read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets
7. Thorough understanding of PSM, DOT, Environmental, State, Local compliance requirements
8. Understands design drawings, pipeline regulations, e.g. 49CFR, Part 192
10. Knowledge and experience with Tx Admin. Codes and PHMSA pipeline safety rules
11. Some knowledge of reading and interpreting land documents (Easements, ROWs, Leases)
