Payroll Specialist

The Planning and Finance Division is hiring an experienced Payroll Technician to join the Accounting team. In this job, you will provide accounting and payroll processing support for Colorado Springs Utilities, certain joint ventures, and authorities. You can work on a team rotating various payroll tasks processing bi-weekly payroll for all utility employees. If you have excellent payroll skills and are passionate about contributing to your community's utility services, this role could be a perfect fit for you.

Your job responsibilities include...

Who You are... The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of payroll experience working as a payroll technician responsible for processing payroll, including calculating taxes, child support, garnishments, and payroll functions for a large organization.
