Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and HRIS systems, as well as strong analytical skills to effectively manage payroll data.
Responsibilities
•Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
•Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
•Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate reporting of employee time and attendance using systems such as Kronos or PeopleSoft.
•Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to maintain payroll integrity.
•Prepare reports related to payroll metrics, including accounts receivable information as needed.
•Assist with audits related to payroll processes and provide necessary documentation when required.
•Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
•Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to payroll.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Previous experience in a payroll or accounting role is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of accounts receivable processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
