To succeed as a Payroll & Reporting Analyst, you must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, with 5–7 years of payroll processing and HRIS administration experience.

- Solid knowledge of payroll tax regulations, labor law compliance, and union/non-union payroll structures in manufacturing or refinery environments.

- Proficient in HRIS systems, Excel, and data analytics tools, with the ability to reconcile complex payroll data accurately.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information and partner across functions.

- Ability to be on-site at PEMEX Deer Park at least three days per week, with travel within the refinery as needed.

As a Payroll & Reporting Analyst, you will:

- Lead full-cycle payroll processing for union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper handling of taxes, deductions, and reporting.

- Administer employee benefits and 401(k) programs, including enrollments, contributions, compliance testing, and vendor management.

- Reconcile payroll data, manage audits, and prepare year-end reporting in coordination with Finance and external partners.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, and compliance-related inquiries, supporting employees across the organization.

- Drive process improvements, reporting, and analytics to enhance compliance, efficiency, and overall employee experience.

is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX. It is part of the Pemex group, a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics, and marketing. The refinery’s rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day and has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crude oil to produce high-quality transportation fuels the world needs.
