Potelco, Inc. is looking to add a Partsman to our team in Fredrickson, WA to support the day-to-day operations of our Parts Room and field teams.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safety-focused Parts Room. The Partsman delivers parts to field mechanics, picks up materials from vendors, and supports inventory control processes. What You'll Do:

- Loads and unloads stock shipments.

- Drives to vendors to pick up parts and/or delivers parts and supplies to field operations.

- Assists in keeping the Parts Room areas neat and orderly to maintain a safe work environment; re-arranges storage space as necessary.

- Restocks inventory.

- Receives incoming stock, checks and counts items received against invoices, packing slips or bills of lading.

- Conducts physical inventory. Assists in maintaining and updating a computerized Inventory Control system. Maintains inventory records.

- Performs routine recordkeeping and related clerical duties, such as: data entry and maintenance of files and records.

- Receives containers or materials containing potentially hazardous substances, identifies materials and prepares for disposal.

- Performs other related duties of a comparable level/type as assigned.

- Must be detail-orientated with the ability to work under pressure.

- Assist other parts counter staff as needed.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

- Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

- Required to lift up to 50 pounds.

- May require handling or working with materials containing toxic/hazardous substances.

- May require working outdoors in all types of weather. Some positions require working evenings.

What You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Requires the ability to work in a team environment.

- Requires a minimum of one year in an automotive parts or maintenance environment.

- Experience in Microsoft Office, Internet, and E-mail is desired.

Licensing and Other Requirements:

- A current State of Washington driver's license.

- Washington State Forklift Safety and Operations Certification.

Compensation Range: The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $26.37/Hr. - USD $35.13/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications. Equal Opportunity Employer:
