The Parts Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring up-to-date and accurate documentation essential to our operations. This role maintains the readiness and compliance of our fleet, driver qualification files, training records, inventory movement, month end inventories, as well as supporting service and delivery dispatch.
- Provide phone support to customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain vehicle service records in Fleet Management and expense tracking software.
- Ensure timely completion of state vehicle inspections and registrations.
- Ensure Driver Qualification Files are DOT compliant.
- Ensure training records are up to date.
- Perform monthly physical inventory and report fuel oil and propane levels.
- Ensure timely documentation of monthly inspections to the bulk storage facilities and follow up with management when issues are noted.
- Serve as a backup to the Delivery Dispatcher & Service Dispatcher
- Track and monitor new fleet equipment installations
- Update parts pricing in ADDs (our back-office system) when necessary.
- Fill BBQ, camping, and motor home tanks for customer walk-ins.
- Demonstrated history of being highly organized and detail oriented.
- Analytical skills are essential.
- Demonstrated computer skills/ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
