Painter/Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Industrial Painter – Structural Steel - 2nd Shift

Hours: 4PM - 2:30AM, M-TH (Base pay plus a $2/hr shift differential)

Are you an experienced industrial painter who takes pride in high-quality finishes and attention to detail? Do you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

As an Industrial Painter, you will:

- Perform industrial painting on structural steel, including:

- Surface preparation (grinding, cleaning, sanding, masking)

- Applying primers and industrial coatings

- Ensuring proper film thickness, coverage, and cure times

- Inspecting painted materials for quality, adhesion, and finish consistency

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint area

- Work closely with production and material handling teams to meet schedules and quality standards

- Support quality control and continuous improvement efforts

- Operate overhead cranes or assist with material movement as needed (training provided, if required)

- Grow your skills through on-the-job training and development

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience painting structural steel or industrial metal products

- Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and paint equipment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures

- Experience operating overhead cranes (remote control preferred, but not required)

- Reliable, organized, and proactive approach to daily work
