Key Responsibilities

A Painter is responsible for completing the following duties:

•

Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, masking, and verifying readiness for paint application.

•

Mix and apply paint using proper techniques, equipment settings, and application procedures to ensure high-quality finishes.

•

Perform regular maintenance on paint equipment and clean the paint booth, including changing filters and maintaining lighting.

•

Inspect painted surfaces for quality issues such as runs or missed areas, and conduct visual and electronic mill testing.

•

Organize and maintain the paint trailer and related work areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation.

Shift

•

Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm; Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
