Industrial Painter

Job Description

Thurston Machine is a world class manufacturing facility located in Port Colborne since 1915. We are currently seeking a Industrial Painter to work at our facility on a rotating day and afternoon shift schedule.

Major Responsibilities:

· Coat manufactured components to customer specifications applying controlled thicknesses of different epoxy or enamel paints

· Prepare components for coatings using tape, plugs, or other methods.

· Prepare and mix products as per manufacturer guidelines

· Utilize airless and pressure pot sprayer

· Utilize overhead cranes / jib cranes to manipulate components of varying sizes and shapes

· To always work in a safe way as per Occupational Health and Safety Act

Experience

· Minimum 1 year experience in Industrial Coatings

Pay: Up to $32.42 per hour
