Custom Aluminum Products, a 66 year old aluminum extrusion company in South Elgin and Genoa, IL is seeking a Parts Racker/Unracker and Painters on 2nd shift in our Paint department in South Elgin.

The Paint Racker loads the parts onto the line and is responsible for the required tools and materials to do so.

Essential Duties and Description:

- Check parts for defects before being loaded.

- Separate non-conforming parts and notify the Supervisor so a disposition can be determined.

- Have knowledge of racks for each die.

- Stock the good parts correctly in the cart, 4x4, basket or box.

- Maintain a clean and organized area.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Check for clean racks to ensure a good ground.

- Blow off parts for final step.

- Have good communication to follow paint schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain the painting equipment.

- Check parts for good finish before being unloaded and separate bad parts.

- Check the quality of the work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
