Job Title: Packaging Technician

About this role
The Packaging Technician is responsible for preparing, packaging, and labeling products in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. This role ensures products are packaged safely, accurately, and efficiently to maintain product integrity and support production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:
•Operating packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
•Inspecting products for quality, proper labeling, and correct packaging materials.
•Weigh, seal, and label packages according to instructions.
•Maintaining clean and organized workstations, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
•Reporting defective products or packaging issues to the supervisor immediately.
•Completing production logs and inventory documentation accurately.
•Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
•Assisting with loading and unloading products and packaging supplies as needed.
•Assisting with magnetizing product as required by customer demand
•Following all company policies, including safety, GMP, and quality control protocols.
We are looking for someone who:
•Has a High school diploma or GED.
•Has previous packaging or manufacturing experience. This is a plus but not required.
•Shows the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
•Can demonstrate good attention to detail and manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately..
•Is able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/production setting.
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
•Able to move up to 50lbs.
•Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
•Is capable of making repetitive movements.
•May require working near machinery, exposure to noise, or fluctuating temperatures.
•Does not have a pacemaker or any other implantable that prevents working around strong electromagnets.
