Warehouse Technician
Minimum Requirements:
•Grade 12 diploma preferred
•Forklift license and experience operating a forklift an asset
•Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving experience an asset
Qualifications:
•Demonstrate initiative and strong organizational skills
•Accountable, dependable and demonstrate integrity
•Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
•Good verbal English communication skills and ability to read English
•Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and thoroughly
•Team player and able to work without supervision
Job Responsibilities
The following responsibilities may include some or all of the following or any other tasks assigned by Management
•Sorting, locating and retrieving client material and supplies from the warehouse
•Accurately prepare outgoing shipments as well as disposal and storage of material
•Update a computer program accordingly
•General shipping and receiving warehouse functions as needed
•Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment
•Ensure that workplace health and safety policies and procedures are followed
Physical Demands
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
•Extensive walking or movement, bending, kneeling, or standing

The Warehouse Technician position will support the warehouse functions within the lab.
As health and safety is our priority, we have taken additional steps from the onset of the pandemic to provide a covid-19 free work environment for our team.
•Routine sanitization/cleaning by the janitorial staff of high touch surfaces
•Hand sanitizers available throughout the lab
•Enforcement of social distancing
•Various Personal Protective Equipment provided by the company: N95 respirators, latex gloves, lab coats
•As a laboratory, there is significantly more fresh air brought into the building (and then exhausted)
