As Outside Sales Representative, covering northern Missiour to central Illinois, you will develop and implement segment-specific strategies, set pricing guidelines, and ensure timely deliveries. Resolve customer issues, assess profit potential of accounts, update CRM regularly, and respond to management requests. - Develop and implement a segment-specific sales strategy.
- Work with Inside Sales Department and Sales Management to establish pricing guidelines for customers.
- Coordinate orders with sales department to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding damaged/incorrect material and deliver/inventory problems.
- Assess profit potential of all existing and prospective accounts.
- Effectively use CRM to regularly update account plans and objectives as appropriate to the profit and sales potential of each customer.
- Respond to periodic requests for information from management and corporate functions.
- Encourage all customers to deepen their business relationships with Norfolk Iron through parallel setting and cost saving initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: 2 Years - Metal Sales Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
- Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization
