A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Order Management Specialist, you will be the central point of ownership for the entire order lifecycle within your assigned territory, from booking to delivery and invoicing. Your role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving timely and accurate execution of all order-related activities. You will thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where precision, accountability, and proactive communication are key. Your role is very dynamic, requiring a balance of operational precision, customer focus, and strategic thinking. Every day, you play a critical part in ensuring that our customers receive their products on time, with full transparency and confidence in our execution.

Your Tasks:

- Ensure order fulfillment by serving as the primary point of contact for all related matters. The Order Management team represents the face of the organization to customers and is accountable for on-time delivery (OTD) and overall customer satisfaction.

- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, including product shortages, delivery delays, customer complaints, and inquiries, while resolving order-related issues promptly and effectively.

- Manage and validate all order bookings, ensuring alignment with internal systems, stakeholders and contractual requirements.

- Own the end-to-end order process: booking, documentation, delivery coordination, and invoicing.

- Serve as the primary customer contact, providing timely updates and professional support and communication throughout the order lifecycle.

- Collaborate with internal departments (Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, etc.) to meet delivery timelines and resolve issues.

- Track order milestones, follow up on open actions, and ensure timely close-out of all projects.

- Ensure data accuracy and documentation compliance in SAP and other relevant systems.

- Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping logistics in line with project requirements.

- Lead customer interactions with transparency, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.

- Maintain close engagement with production teams, including regular floor visits to monitor progress and gather insights.


Requirements:

- 3+ years in order management, project coordination, or customer service within a manufacturing or technical environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).

- Previous SAP experience is required.

- Experience working with technical documentation or in a manufacturing environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to process integrity.

- Accountable and self-driven, with strong ownership of assigned territory and deliverables.

- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Process improvement Oriented.

- Professional, diplomatic, and composed in high-pressure or complex customer scenarios.

- Collaborative, curious, and willing to learn the full production flow to better support order success.

We offer:

In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $60,000 – $95,000 / Annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations.
