Oracle Database Administrator

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, security, ongoing support, and optimization of enterprise databases at Chugach Electric, supporting a mission-critical environment.

This role ensures database reliability, performance, scalability, and efficiency while supporting application development, upgrades, and system enhancements. Additionally, the Database Administrator researches emerging technologies, evaluates system improvements, and provides expert guidance on database-related initiatives.

The DBA also researches and implements emerging database technologies and automation strategies ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.
