The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, security, ongoing support, and optimization of enterprise databases at Chugach Electric, supporting a mission-critical environment. This role ensures database reliability, performance, scalability, and efficiency while supporting application development, upgrades, and system enhancements. Additionally, the Database Administrator researches emerging technologies, automation strategies, evaluates system improvements, and provides expert guidance on database-related initiatives to ensure alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.

+ IT Management: Receives direction and assistance from, exchanges information and makes recommendations. + Other Information Technology Staff: Works directly with, exchanges information, makes recommendations, advises in areas related to database management. + Users: Provide product support, exchanges information.

Software and Hardware Vendors: Consults with, performs advanced troubleshooting, reports and solves problems
