Operator, Trenchless Rehabilitation

Summary

GFL Environmental is looking for Operators to join the growing team in HRM, NS! Providing innovative methods of cleaning, inspection and trenchless rehabilitation of underground pipes. Our clients range from residential homeowners to large construction and engineering companies and Municipalities throughout Atlantic Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Trenchless repairs of underground infrastructure.

- Maintain trucks and equipment in order to provide efficient operation.

- Operate required equipment including compressors and other equipment as required.

- Create and sustain working relationship with coworkers, contractors and municipal inspectors.

- Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

- Valid Class 5 license is required

- Class 3 license an asset

- Must have experience in one of the following: Robotic Cutting, Spot repairs, manhole rehabilitation, lateral lining, grouting, CIPP Lining, UV Lining, Fold and Form Lining

- Mechanical inclination

- NASSCO PACP Certification an asset.

- Confined Space Experience.

- Display flexibility and confidentiality.

- Highly driven, focused and self-motivated.

- Must work well in a team environment.

- Overnight Weekday travel in company vehicle up to 50% of the time.

- 10-12 hour shifts
