Operations Team Member

OBJECTIVE:

As our Operations Team Member you will be responsible for processing and delivery of customer orders, pickup of material from vendors, all while maintaining a high standard of customer service. If you are motivated to drive / operate equipment safely and deliver products to customers within deadlines, we can teach you the rest. We’ll train you in operating our machines and working with different metals. If you’re good with your hands, have attention to detail and you’re motivated to learn, this is the right job for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Cut customer orders to customer specs using metal cutting equipment such as saws, hydraulic shear, etc.

- Safely operate forklift to move material around the warehouse, unload/load trucks, etc.

- Safely operate a 30’+ vehicle to make customer deliveries

- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials, as required

- Inventory maintenance & control

- Assist in proper maintenance of equipment (saws, forklift etc.) ensuring safety first for everyone

- Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized and safe at all times

- Perform other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Available M-F, ~8a-~5p. With 1x 30min unpaid lunch break + 2x 10min paid breaks

- Valid Driver’s license, clean driving record and insurable

- Comfortable with measuring tape / basic math

- Experience / comfort driving large vehicles (eg 30’ long vehicle) and comfort training on a forklift

(experience is a plus but not required)

- Ability to accurately use measuring instruments – tape measures, dial calipers

- Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50 -100 lbs

- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written

- Excellent customer relationship skills

COMPENSATION:

Hourly: $19-20/hr (dependent on experience)

Target Bonus Range: Up to $1/hr paid out quarterly based on individual and store performance

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
