- Lead the team and foster a culture centered on Safety and Quality.
- Actively supports Safety and Quality initiatives, such as closing safety concerns, compliance training and quality findings.
- Owns Daily Management board and the actions.
- Meets or exceeds key KPI’s for the gate in alignment with Aero Alliance strategic goals.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels through effective recruitment, training and scheduling to meet productivity needs and performance expectations.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and foster an environment of learning and problem-solving.
- Develop team members through coaching conversations and follow-ups, supporting their growth and success.
- Key contact for customer inquiries, customer complaint (issue) resolution process. Work with operations to understand and communicate commits and status to customers.
- A job at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and at least 0-2 years of leadership/supervisor experience or a high school diploma/GED and at least 6 years of leadership/supervisor experience
- Advanced experience in manufacturing or assembly and production supervision
- In- depth knowledge of technical disciplines and the ability to integrate team efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or repair & overhaul environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Experience in Lean methodologies
- Repairman certificate or Airframe/Powerplant License
- Engineering or Quality experience
