The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field operations with a strategic mindset, ensuring safety, quality, and financial health of the operation. This role involves managing risk, sales, service quality, personnel, and business development across various functions including accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, health & safety, and human resources.
- Lead regular safety meetings with employees
- Oversee Job Hazard Analysis updates and investigate incidents
- Ensure compliance with company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies
- Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security and Environmental protection
- Drive continuous improvement in safety practices
- Execute operational activities and determine resource requirements
- Maintain strategic focus on quality service delivery to customers
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular customer Service Quality Review meetings
- Manage equipment maintenance according to Technical Manuals
- Oversee job documentation and reporting processes
- Assume full P&L responsibility for the Product line
- Maximize financial results including forecast, profit and loss
- Ensure effective cost management throughout the organization
- Interpret and enforce contracts to maximize opportunities
- Forecast activity trends using market intelligence
- Lead and motivate field personnel
- Drive performance management through objective setting and appraisals
- Support talent management and succession planning
- Collaborate with HR on recruitment and retention strategies
- Provide regular coaching and development opportunities
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
- Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Service Quality, and Operations
- Clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities to team members
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in Oil & Gas operations - 2+ years P&L experience, preferred- Experience with drilling preferred
- Experience in day-to-day operations and product-related projects
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
- Understanding of finance, accounting, and cost control principles
- Comprehensive knowledge of Product Line and technical job planning
- Understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience with relevant business systems (JDE, Hyperion, TapRoot, etc.)
Fluent in English
This position may require domestic travel of 10%
