We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our organization. T

Responsibilities

•

Oversee all operations in the powder coating and spray-painting departments, including pretreatment, application, curing, and quality control.

•

Manage and schedule daily production to meet customer deadlines and quality expectations.

•

Supervise a team of painters, coating technicians, quality inspectors, and support staff.

•

·Monitor and optimize material usage, reducing waste and maintaining cost efficiency.

•

·Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

•

Maintain equipment and facility readiness, coordinating with maintenance for repairs and preventive upkeep.

•

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma principles.

•

Collaborate with quality assurance, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve production and process issues.

•

Prepare reports and KPIs on production efficiency, downtime, quality defects, and on-time delivery.

•

·Train, develop, and mentor staff to improve skills, performance, and cross-functional capabilities.

•

Interface with key customers for communication of deadlines and ship dates.

Requirements

•

Associate degree from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

•

3–5 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

•

In-depth knowledge of both powder coating and wet spray-painting techniques, materials, and equipment preferred.

•

Familiarity with various substrates (steel, aluminum, plastic) and surface preparation requirements.

•

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts.

•

Experience in business development strategies that drive growth and profitability.

•

Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards.

•

Proficient in using production software and Microsoft Office tools; ERP system experience preferred.
