Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our contingent workforce business unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in driving sales and implementing strategic plans. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations, fostering business development, and achieving overall company objectives.
Responsibilities
•Manage customer accounts in their designated territory through face-to-face interaction, develop customer relations for continuous sales, and business development for new customers
•Representation for the Business Unit for monthly financial meetings; managing expense spending for the BU
•Manage HR functions from the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring payroll is submitted and approved correctly to HR, the first point of contact for employees
•Direct the safety culture amongst employees, promoting a safe work environment and accountability for employees
•Manage fleet of vehicles, ensuring trucks are kept in good working order, outfit new trucks as needed, and oversee driver safety
Qualifications
•Proven experience in an operations management role in managing accounts for contingent labor.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
•Demonstrated experience in sales management and business development strategies.
•Proficient in strategic planning and process improvement methodologies.
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•Strong analytical skills with experience in profit loss analysis.
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
