Job Summary
Responsible for the overall profitability and safe operation of the area. Implements and executes all Company policies, procedures, and strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
•Ensure Company safety standards are followed and promoted.
•Oversee the daily activities of the areas staff and active contractors.
•Ensure area has sufficient qualified and trained staff to meet customer expectations.
•Ensure team is customer centered, responsive, professional, and that Company expectations are communicated appropriately to staff.
•Develop, review, and implement areas strategic plan, operations plan, and operational budgets.
•Monitor and manage areas operation costs and budgets.
•Review, approve, and report on financial performance of the area.
•Ensure that customer deliveries are made as scheduled and that scheduling meets customer requirements.
•Monitor market and maintain a knowledge of the local business climate and make adjustments as necessary.
•Oversee inventory management systems and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs.
•Manage equipment and other physical resources including maintenance, repairs, replacement, and disposal.
Additional
•Work closely with management to collaboratively assist in the achievement of Senergys overall growth & profitability goals.
•Develop and maintain relationships with strategic prospects and accounts.
•Priority focus on growth with optimized overall account profitability.
•Assist in and support sales teams efforts.
•Complete the operational tasks as needed to meet customer demands including inventory checks, pull orders, schedule and dispatch orders, etc.
Supervision of Others
•All operations based personnel at the designated facility.
Work Environment
•Typically work is performed in an office setting.
•Frequent work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
•Frequent work in dusty, wet, dirty environments and exposure to fuel and fuel fumes.
Physical Demands
•Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
•Able to move about office setting to complete responsibilities.
•Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
•Able to move freely around work and customer sites.
•Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Travel
•Outside of local area ~35%
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
•Five or more years experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
•Three or more years experience in management role in operations, manufacturing, logistics or a related field.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
•Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations.
•Able to effectively multitask with a strong attention to detail.
•Able to work independently.
•Able to learn, understand, and report on accounting and financial data.
Preferred
•Ten or more years experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
•Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
•Experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry.
