The Field Services – Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations that support energy efficiency programs. This role ensures field teams deliver high-quality residential and multifamily services safely, on time, and in compliance with utility, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational discipline, data-driven decision-making skills, and experience managing field staff and contractors at scale.
- Manage daily field operations across multiple service channels (e.g., Single Family, Multifamily, Direct Install, Assessments)
- Supervise Field Service Supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and dispatch teams
- Ensure schedule adherence, productivity targets, and on-time service delivery
- Oversee technician onboarding, training, certifications, and ongoing performance management
- Monitor QA/QC results, customer satisfaction, and corrective action plans
- Coordinate inventory, materials, fleet readiness, and field equipment
- Partner with Program Management, Customer Services, and Data teams to meet program KPIs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, BPI, utility program requirements, and company SOPs
- Track and report operational metrics including completion rates, rework, safety incidents, and callbacks
- Support client deliverables such as accruals, forecasting, invoicing, and reporting
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize labor efficiency, cost control, and customer experience- 5+ years of experience in field operations, service delivery, or operations management - 2+ years managing field teams or supervisors
- Experience in energy efficiency, utilities, HVAC, construction, home services, or technical field environments preferred
- Strong understanding of scheduling, routing, and workforce utilization
- Proficient in tools such as Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL), Excel, Power BI, or similar systems
