Primarily responsible for the management of assigned customer accounts. This is comprised of receiving, processing (end-to-end), and scheduling of customer orders. The role requires daily communication with customers, storage/loading terminals, and transportation providers. Excellent customer service, communication, and issue resolution skills are a must. There may be an occasional need for after-hours communications with terminals and/or customers.
- Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing orders, communication and coordination with other department to resolve inquiries.
- Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service.
- Computes correct item #, quantity, price and any appropriate discounts.
- Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments.
- Support the sales team in a variety of administrative tasks as required.
- Review daily/weekly for open orders and forecasts.
- Files copies of all orders documents received.
- Bill and submit invoices in a timely manner.
- Review blend schedule and plan raw material delivery accordingly
- Perform monthly closing process required by company
- Additional duties as assigned
- A bachelor’s degree.
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and fluent Korean is preferred; bilingual proficiency preferred.
