Oilfield Field Mechanic

Full Job Description

Excalibur Rentals is looking to add a full time diesel field mechanic with minimum of 6 years experience to our team. The applicant will be responsible for performing work involving the diagnosis and repair of malfunction, as well as preventative maintenance tasks, for diesel engines and construction equipment in addition to hydraulic systems and electrical diagnostics and repairs. Mechanic must be proficient in heavy duty diesel equipment or diesel applications. Applicant must provide his/her own tools. A drug screen with be required prior to hire along with a complete driving record of the applicant. Must have experience working on these types of machines: Genie & JLG Telehandler forklifts, Genie Manlifts, Allmand and other brands of light towers and diesel generators.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Inspect diesel engine, equipment hydraulics and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts.

- Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair.

- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure the unit is safe to operate.

- Diagnose damaged units/parts and replace parts that cannot be fixed properly.

- Lubricate, clean, and inspect all moving parts on equipment/trucks.

- Communicate with purchasing to obtain or order the parts necessary to repair vehicles efficiently.

- Perform other duties that are assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
