Benmet Steel & Metal is a leader in the Canadian scrap and recycling industry located in Guelph, Stratford and Owen Sound, Ontario. We are one of the most established and reputable independent scrap metal processors in Ontario. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team.

What you'll do...

- Be a part of operations at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, while focusing on daily tasks

Warehouse duties determining safe product handling, customer and business needs, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping

- Controlling and managing inventory, sorting materials

- Maintaining quality and customer service standards are met

- Working in a safe and effective manner, establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

- Assisting with all warehouse duties where required

- Forklift training provided

What you offer...

- Forklift experience is an asset

- Team player

- Excellent time-management skills

- Great interpersonal and critical communication skills

- Mechanically inclined – ability to initiate and execute with limited assistance

- Ability to manage inventory and shipping

Requirements

- 3 months experience working in an industrial setting

- 1 year experience working in an industrial setting is an asset
