Summary: Responsible for receiving, pricing, inspecting, and grading raw material (Ferrous and Nonferrous scrap) from customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Learn all aspects of nonferrous pricing, grading preparation, and shipment
- Inspects customer material to determine the commodity
- Use a computer to purchase the material
- Inspects product to determine compliance with the company's specifications, quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping conformity to specified standards
- Operate forklift to load and unload material
- Review and prepare the necessary documentation to ensure accuracy of materials received and freight loaded in accordance with schedules, supervisory direction, and required federal and state compliance
- Maintains neat and orderly work areas
- Complies, promotes and supports all environmental and safety policies
- The employee may be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management, to meet company needs
- Be on time and at work daily

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply basic concepts such as addition, subtraction, divison, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Candiate must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:30am -4:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm
