Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring seamless connectivity across all systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and operating systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Duties
•Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN) to ensure optimal performance and security.
•Provide IT support to end-users, addressing issues related to desktop support and help desk inquiries.
•Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, utilizing tools such as Remedy for issue tracking.
•Collaborate with team members to implement network upgrades and enhancements.
•Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment.
•Conduct regular assessments of network performance and security protocols.
•Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
•Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to computer networking.
Requirements
•Proficient in LAN management and IT support practices.
•Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
•Experience with software troubleshooting techniques and desktop support.
•Familiarity with computer hardware components and their functionality.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
•Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical users.
•Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
