IT Analyst, Network LAN/WAN

Role and Scope of Position:

Under general supervision, responsible for the design, planning, and operation of the corporate data network. This includes the configuration, installation, and management of all local area networks (LAN), wide area network (WAN) links, and related client services to meet enterprise business requirements. Skilled in network planning, engineering and architecture, designs and implements WAN & LAN network architectures, including LANs, network topologies, LAN internetworking, and connections with the WAN environment. Has responsibility for network performance and the identification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to the network and related equipment. Ensures a stable network performance environment for enterprise applications, multimedia communications, and other business applications with varying requirements. May participate in or facilitate various IT projects intended to continually improve and upgrade the network and telecommunications infrastructure.Essential Functions:
