Job Title: Municipal Sales Representative

Location: 2251 Silver Creek Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108


FLSA Classification: Exempt

Position Type: Full time or Part time

Typical Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm


Pay Range: $75k DOE


About the role:

Silver Creek Materials is looking for a Municipal Sales

Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will have direct experience in working

with and managing Municipality and ISD (Independent School District) accounts, with a strong

ability to position and promote our mining and landscaping products to meet the specific needs

of these sectors. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities


while maintaining and expanding current customer relationships.


What you'll do:

Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director
Grow and manage new and existing accounts
Utilize sales tools, including various prospecting websites
Use Microsoft Office products and various computer software
Managing and positioning SCM’s product inventory
Accurately processing sales orders
Coordinating the shipping and receiving of parts and materials.
Collaborate with team members to promote SCM products and services
Work with the Finance and Accounting department for any payment or invoice issues.
Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Other Duties as Assigned


Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in B2B sales
Ability to think strategically and systematically
Proven track record of increasing customer base and profitable revenue in a competitive environment year over year
Have experience with CRM software. NetSuite CRM experience is a plus
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel locally to visit customers and call on potential customers
