PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Promote the full MCP product portfolio and aftermarket services within the region, developing strategies in co-ordination with other regions ensure we are being consistent with the larger clients across the Western Hemisphere.
•Be the field store managers’ eyes and ears with customer activity, advocating for the customer within the MCP store, and advocating for MCP at the customer’s location.
•Relay all competitive market intelligence to the Field Store Manager and MCP management, where applicable.
•Gather and utilize competitor intelligence to strengthen our product offering and market Position.
•Keep up to date with current DSOs for client base and be proactive in keeping receivables as low as possible.
•Maximize both revenues and profits on a monthly basis, meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets for the store.
•Manage strategic customer accounts across all levels of personnel.
•Drive revenue growth through achieving product / service approvals and becoming a preferred business partner.
•Build and establish relationships with key decision makers to develop strategies designed to help customers meet their high-level goals and solve customer challenges.
•Develop and deliver Sales Presentations when required.
•Use internal CRM to enter client visit reports, quotes and trach opportunities.
•Work with each of the NOV Regions to develop strategies for like customers
•Participate in Training as identified by Manager
•Provide order estimates, enter customer purchase orders, and follow them through the invoicing process.
•Manage open orders and notify customers of any delivery schedule changes.
•Setup new customers and establish credit terms as needed.
•Provide solutions to assist in meeting customer requirements.
•Generate internal reports as needed.
•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
•Comply with all NOV Company policies and procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
•Become very familiar, commercially and technically, with MCP’s product portfolio.
•Become very familiar with the geographic market served by the field store.
•Support the field store operational success by being their eyes and ears in the market, integrating with and supporting the field store team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Associates or Bachelors degree in a technical competency is preferred.
•8-12 years of relevant technical sales experience calling on customers
•Ability to travel up to 50-75%
•Preferred: 4-6 years experience in fracking
•Previous work experience in service or maintenance management.
•Previous work experience in oil and gas is preferred.
