Mig Welder/Fabricator (must be 18 years old to apply)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality production standards and maintaining safety protocols on construction sites.

Duties

- Perform MIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, to fabricate components according to specifications.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively while adhering to safety standards.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.

- Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance and compliance with project requirements.

- Operate forklifts for material handling as needed during the welding process.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

- Proven experience in MIG welding with a strong understanding of fabrication processes.

- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.

- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precision work.

- Knowledge of mechanical systems and rigging techniques.

- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles.

- Experience with assembly processes and the operation of press brake machines.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
