Metal Fabricator

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project requirements

- Fabricate and assemble metal components based on specifications

- Use various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and welding machines to shape and cut metal

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the work area

- Adhere to safety protocols and follow building codes and industry standards

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Skills:

- Proficient in metal fabrication techniques including cutting, welding, and shaping

- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards for metal fabrication

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
