Fabricator

Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled fabricator with 5 years of experience. This position will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing multiple types of metal utilizing MIG welding. Pay is dependent on experience.

Requirements

- Experience in a manufacturing environment

- Must be able to read blueprints to determine job steps and requirements

- Understand specifications and ensure the finished product passes quality inspection

- Accurately use all measuring instruments and tools relating to fabrication

- Ability to pass required weld testing

- In-depth knowledge of safety practices and rules associated with working in a welding shop

- Ensure work tools are maintained in a safe working condition

- Able to problem solve

- Work well independently AND as part of a team

- Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Must be dependable

- Must have experience as a fabricator

- Must pass a pre-hiring background check and post-offer, pre-hire drug test.

Kammerer Dynamics, Inc. (KDi) is a 3rd generation, family-owned steel fabricator founded in 1942. We design and build tables, platforms, large weldments, racks, trailers, and custom parts to customer specifications. Using 3D software, laser cutting, a 250-ton press brake, CNC saws, and skilled fabricators, we produce high-quality products. Our robotic welder enhances production efficiency. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
