Join a dynamic team delivering complex construction projects as a Site MEP Technical Coordinator. This role is essential in bridging owner requirements with onsite activities, ensuring seamless coordination between trades, and supporting the commissioning process. The position offers the opportunity to lead documentation, quality verification, and troubleshooting efforts across electrical and basic mechanical/control systems. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, working closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and owner representatives to drive project success.
- Plan and coordinate installation methods to align with project design and quality standards.
- Verify compliance and quality of MEP installations through regular site inspections and documentation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents to facilitate issue resolution and maintain project schedules.
- Drive commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and preparation for load-soak activities.
- Lead field documentation using Procore, including management of punch lists, PTP verifications, and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE).
- Maintain organized records of photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
- Act as the onsite point-of-contact in the absence of project leadership, escalating issues as needed to keep the project on track.
- Support hands-on troubleshooting across electrical and basic mechanical/control interfaces.
- 35 years of construction experience, with a preference for electrical backgrounds.
- 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
- Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems.
- Exposure to commissioning processes and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel within North America as required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); Schneider PME certification is a plus.
