Mechanical Product Design Engineer - Analyst (Calculation Engineer)

A Snapshot of Your Day Siemens Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team! As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing and optimization of Large Electric Generators for the Fossil and Nuclear Power industry. In this role, you will apply expertise in analytics, data science, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and CAD systems to support the development of innovative product designs and process improvements. You will generate data-driven recommendations that align with evolving market dynamics and customer requirements, contributing to the continuous advancement of our engineering capabilities. In addition, you will apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems, not covered by existing procedures or practices. A Mechanical Engineer displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or multi-functional problems. You will guide communication of complex technical and commercial issues. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, and possess a strong background in CAD fundamentals, GD&T methods, machine design, failure mode analysis, and product development processes.
