As a

Mechanical Design Engineer

at Oklo, you'll be responsible for developing design solutions that bring our advanced reactor technology to life. You'll work on high-impact engineering challenges, designing structural components and mechanical systems that comprise the reactor module within our Aurora powerhouses. Your work will span concept generation, CAD modeling, analysis coordination, documentation, and fabrication readiness – culminating in manufacturable designs that meet demanding performance and regulatory requirements. You'll also work directly with vendors to produce those designs and eventually assist with assembling them at the powerhouse sites.

This is a highly cross-functional role where technical excellence and a collaborative mindset are equally valued.

About Oklo compensation: Salary: $100,000-$154,000

Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.

Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy.
