Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing is responsible for designing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes and equipment to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and ensure safe and reliable production. This role focuses on equipment upgrades, production support, and machine tool design using engineering principles and real-world experience.
- Manage the design and installation of hydraulic and pneumatic system upgrades.
- Identify critical spare components and partner with vendors to ensure cost-efficiency, reliability, and risk mitigation.
· Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to production and maintenance departments.
· Develop and launch manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
· Design custom tooling and fixturing for new and existing products.
· Create and maintain engineering drawings using 2D/3D design software.
· Ensure all equipment meets safety and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing role (experience level may vary).- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Experience with PLC programming and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Creo CAD systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
