Duties and Qualifications

- Under general supervision, assist in creating, developing, validating, and maintaining API 6A, 16A, 16C, and 16D product lines including - Slab Gate Valves, Choke Valves, Check Valves, SSVs, Control Systems.

- Role will be primarily working with slab gate valves for advanced Frac applications, and Chokes, Checks and production valves as a secondary work.

- Work alongside Engineering Team members to initiate and implement product improvements.

- Perform calculation, FEA, and other associated tasks utilizing existing formats and principles.

- Develop Design Files compliant to existing API formats and methodologies.

- Create detail drawings, assemblies, and manuals, BOMs, material specifications, or other required data.

- Under general supervision, assist in assembly and test of Engineering development projects.

- Communicate with team members and fulfill engineering obligations to RCA and CAR processes.

- Assist or conduct problem studies leading to recommendations for upgrading/improving existing equipment in field or lab environment.

- Some travel may be required.

- Completes projects as assigned.

- Incumbent received assignments of limited scope and complexity.

- Uses a variety of standard problem-solving techniques.

- May assist more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring computation methods.

- Duties are assigned with detailed oral and occasionally written instructions.

- Work is reviewed in detail with guidance given.

- May give limited technical guidance to junior professionals or technicians working on a common project.

- Problem solving with customer field service and supplier manufacturing issues.

- Assist customers with service compatibility & applications.

- Support sales customer requests for technical information & assistance.

Experience Preference

- Bachelors in Science - Mechanical Engineering

- 4 years minimum of Intermediate to Advanced experienced in Oil and Gas Equipment design, manufacturing, and new product development specific to API 6A as primary, 16A, 16C, 16D is a plus

Job Type: Full time

- Compensation: $90,000-$125,000 a year
