The Mechanical Detailer I is an entry-level role responsible for creating and revising electro-mechanical switchgear drawings using SolidWorks and associated tools. This position supports engineering and manufacturing by producing accurate, detailed prints that conform to established drafting and departmental standards. Work is performed under close supervision with opportunities to learn and grow into higher-level detailer positions.
- Interact with EPDM.
- Create and revise fully detailed engineering prints.
- Update detail drawings per assembly, engineering checking, or fabrication changes.
- Create and release non-pull and run projects through the ECN process.
- Conform to drafting and department standards and processes.
- Work on special projects to model and create drawings for stand-alone components.
- Willingness to learn electro-mechanical switchgear.
- Ability to layout drawings in SolidWorks (Detailing parts and assemblies)
High school graduate or GED and at least X years of SPECIFIC BACKGROUND work experience in XXXXXX.
Bachelors/Associates degree in SPECIFIC DEPT or related field. X or more years of SPECIFIC BACKGROUND work experience in a production/manufacturing environment or a relevant equivalent experience.
