About Us

We specialize in custom cooling towers and industrial components. Our projects range from full systems to after-market replacement parts. We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer to support ongoing projects and help modernize internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

•

Design cooling tower systems and components using 3D CAD software (primarily sheet metal, dimensional lumber, and pultruded FRP)

•

Develop detailed drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation for use by internal teams, contractors, and customers

•

Work closely with project managers, sales, purchasing, and fabrication staff to ensure efficient, on-budget solutions

•

Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for fabrication and field crews

•

Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system upgrades as the company continues to grow

Required Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

•

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, NX)

•

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects

Preferred Skills

•

Experience with Autodesk Inventor

•

Familiarity with sheet metal design and fabrication techniques (e.g., laser cutting, press brakes, welding)

•

Understanding of wood and FRP component design

•

Basic programming experience (e.g., VBA, iLogic, or VB.Net)

Work Environment

•

Mostly Office-based, with some time in Fabrication Shop

•

Occasional field visits

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
