Hibbs ElectroMechanical Inc. is a trusted leader in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of electric motors, generators, and rotating equipment. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, we are looking to expand our skilled team with an experienced Mechanics.
The ideal candidate is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, repair, reassembly, and testing of electric motors and related equipment. This includes both AC and DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps and generators.
Key Responsibilities:
•Disassemble and inspect electric motors, identify mechanical or electrical issues
•Clean, repair, or replace parts such as bearings, windings, brushes, and shafts
•Rewind stators and armatures (if applicable)
•Perform dynamic balancing and testing of rebuilt motors
•Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on jobs
•Ensure work meets company quality standards and safety regulations
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
•2+ years of hands-on mechanic experience
•Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems
•Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
