Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machines in the rental fleet.
Work ranges in scope from general repairs and maintenance, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel engines
Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete all required repairs on heavy equipment and specialized attachments
Diagnose electrical problems and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to various types of equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis
Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems, electronics, and other components
Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performed
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
Be able to read, write, and speak English
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations
Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low
May be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies
Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
Computer literate with the ability to process information
