Key Business Objectives:
The Materials Supervisor is a critical role within USA Compression, responsible for managing the logistics and coordination of all inventory, spare parts, supplies, and tools. In doing so, the Materials Supervisor will adequately support the field material representatives and services teams in providing a high quality level of service to the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Understand and follow all safety and environmental policies
•Coordinate and schedules routine inventory counts and internal audits
•Provide proactive communication at the field level to customers and employees
•Advise Area Service Managers of inventory status in area, as needed
•Manage general housekeeping duties in warehouse, field storage, and office areas
•Assist in development of budget and cost control
•Participate in safety training program and contribute to continuous improvement of safety guidelines
•Act as company liaison to other outside vendors, as required
•Assist Director of Supply Chain & Logistics with execution of corporate strategies and initiatives
•Responsible for hiring, retention, development, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and training of the regional materials team
•Establish key metrics to monitor inventory management performance and identify areas of improvement
•Work closely with accounts payable to ensure accurate tracking of materials and supply costs
•Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills/Capabilities and Education:
•High School diploma or equivalent required
•Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
•Valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression

Working Conditions:
•Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs; and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements.
•Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location.
•Some exposure to high noise levels that require ear protection, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials.
