Must pass Background Check & Drug Screen
Responsibility includes transporting material to and from work centers with fork lift equipment. Also responsible for assisting and performing duties as Material Handler on occasional basis to fill manpower requirements.
- Service assigned work centers to ensure materials are safely and properly moved to designated locations
- Properly operate equipment in a safe manner, avoiding harm, injury or damage to equipment, material, building, others
- Receive instructions for jobs/assignments from area Supervisor or Lead
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at a reasonable rate in a normal day
- Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as required
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- Current Forklift license/certification – will receive additional training and certification by UNARCO
- Must have a clean driving record for the last 7 years
- Must have recent verifiable forklift experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
3-5 years of experience driving a forklift (sit-down), or relevant training desired.
Preferred: Experience with loading/unloading Flat Bed trucks.
- Ability to learn multiple positions within a department
- Must be able to work and communicate as a member of a team
