Join the Nwestco Revolution!

Who We Are:

At Nwestco LLC, we don’t just work in the Petroleum and Car Wash Equipment industry—we lead it. For over 25 years, we’ve set the standard across the Northwest and Rockies, delivering innovation, reliability, and excellence to our customers.

We're on the hunt for a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our growing team in Spokane WA. If you’re driven, safety-focused, and ready to grow with a company that values your experience, this is your moment.

The pay range is $35-$45/hr depending on experience and includes benefits, PTO and 401k.

Your Mission:

- Lead and oversee all electrical aspects of fuel dispensers, pumps, and service station systems (Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Red Jacket, and more).

- Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for fuel stations, car washes, tank farms, and petroleum facilities.

- Supervise and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians to maintain high-quality standards.

- Interpret and verify blueprints, site plans, and electrical schematics, ensuring installations meet NEC and NFPA 70 standards.

- Determine material requirements, plan installations, and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets.

- Ensure compliance with hazardous location (Class I Div 1/2) electrical codes and environmental regulations.

- Conduct testing, verification, and preventive maintenance on electrical control systems, including Veeder-Root, Incon, and POS integrations.

- Work closely with general contractors, inspectors, and field teams to meet project milestones safely and efficiently.

- Lead safety initiatives—enforcing OSHA, lockout/tagout, PPE, and job site best practices.

- Complete and review documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Valid Master Electrician License (state-specific).

- WA or a reciprocal state license (CO, MT, MN, ND, NE, NH, NM, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WY) preferred.

- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

- Deep knowledge of petroleum and hazardous location electrical systems.

- Hands-on experience with UST/AST systems, fuel dispensers, tank monitoring, POS systems, and motor control panels.

- Advanced conduit bending (EMT, RMC, PVC), wire pulling, and troubleshooting expertise.

- Familiarity with Veeder-Root, Incon, Red Jacket, and similar control/monitoring systems.

- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and adapt to evolving job site conditions.

- Proven record of meeting deadlines, maintaining safety compliance, and leading high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.

- Knowledge of permitting, inspection, and testing procedures for commercial electrical work.

Before You Leap:

Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check.

- Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.

- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.

- IMPORTANT: For positions classified as safety-sensitive, applicants are required to pass a comprehensive drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as a condition of employment. While marijuana use may be legal in some states where Nwestco operates, it is important to note that federal regulations and company policies mandate drug testing for all safety-sensitive roles, including those governed by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
