Master and Licensed Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.

- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.

- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.

- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices on best practices in the field.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Master Electrician with a strong portfolio of completed projects in both commercial and industrial settings.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to electrical work.

- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential.

- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of frame carpentry is preferred.

- Background in maintenance person services or general construction is advantageous.

Pay: $34.07 - $41.03 per hour
