JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking skilled and experienced residential journeyman-level electricians who want to expand their careers in the clean energy industry. The Journeyman Electrician's primary job duty is to lead a crew of 2-3 installers to install whole home battery backup systems from TESLA and Franklin in residential homes in the Bay Area. We will provide specific battery installation training, including certifications, to the right candidate with at least 3+ years' experience as a Residential Electrician or similar electrical industry roles. This is not an entry level position!

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience as a Residential Service Electrician or similar role in the electrical industry.

- The ideal candidate will have a DIR certification and experience with battery systems. We are also open to candidates without a DIR certification but with extensive experience in residential electrical work.

- Solar and battery system experience and certifications are a plus but not required.

- Experience upgrading electrical panels is a plus.

JOB DUTIES:

- View project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to design and Electrical Code.

- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and installation processes.

- Execute a variety of electrical tasks, including installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential environments.

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot battery storage systems.

- Conduct site assessments to identify installation requirements.

- Ensure all installations are compliant with local, state, and national codes.

- Take a project from plans to completed, inspected, and approved installation, ready for interconnections with the utilities.

Work Details: Full-time, year-round, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, weekend availability; work from one location, serving residences in neighboring counties.

Qualifications:

- DIR Residential or General Electrician Certification

- High School Diploma/GED

- ET Card (required).

- Minimum 4 years of Electrical experience.

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

- Valid Driver's License.

Must be able to pass:

- DMV Record Review

- Background Screening

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour + Production Bonuses

Expected hours: 40+ per week
