Licensed Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with experience in renovation and construction environments. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper system functionality.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various electrical tasks.

- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.

- Conduct renovations involving electrical installations while adhering to safety standards.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings.

- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards.

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.

- Experience in renovation projects is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Construction site experience preferred; maintenance person experience is also beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
